The Mad Game Newsreel

William knew this part of France very well. Quiet, peaceful, agricultural and safe. Then the war came and turned the world upside down. The two cemeteries are incredibly quiet, peaceful and beautifully manicured. Once again, peaceful and beautiful. One cannot imagine the carnage, destruction and death that this village “holds beneath its nightgown and underskirts, a malignant secret desperate to be silenced”.Bazentin Le Petit down towards the main Road
