The Launch of Odile’s War

At the  Armed Forces Day in Manchester on Saturday 28 June at noon, we hosted the official worldwide launch of Odile’s War – The Mad Game Book Two.

Launch Ceremony with the Lord Mayor of Manchester, Deputy Lord Lieutenant and Army VIP Escort

At a short ceremony attended by the Lord Mayor, the Deputy Lord Lieutenant and members of the Armed Forces, the author presented the VIP party with copies of the bestselling novel, The Mad Game – William’s Story (which had been taken around the Northern France battlefields of La Boisselle, Contalmaison, Bazentin-Le-Petit, Montauban, Mametz and Longueval) and first-print copies of Odile’s War.

After the ceremony, the author signed copies of Odile’s War which are now on general release.

Chris said, “It was a privilege and honour to launch Odile’s War at the Armed Forces Day celebrations in Manchester. I wanted to write novels that educate and inform readers about the realities of the Great War and other conflicts, whilst supporting the amazing work of the Royal British Legion. I would like to thank the VIP Party for taking time out to come and launch my novel and make the release such an enjoyable occasion”.

Kevin McGuire from the Royal British Legion said, “it is fantastic that Chris has written the novels in support of the Legion. To donate the proceeds from his novels is an amazing gesture of kindness and support for our Armed Forces. We heartily support the novels and will make sure that as many people as possible get to read the fabulous stories and the history in his books”.

William’s Story is currently available on Kindle through Amazon and paperback at Amazon and on discount at the Bookstore.
